ABOUT ME :)
My Teaching Philosophy
My philosophy of education begins with the student as an individual. I believe I will impact the lives of my students by finding unique qualities within each of them and I will inspire them to use those qualities to their full potential. I will facilitate education through enthusiasm, excitement, and passion while bridging the gap between school curriculum and the world as it relates to the community and the workplace. I will foster collaboration, communication, and innovation through multiple means of expression and engagement. I will increase feelings of confidence in my students and gear them towards high career aspirations both inside and outside of the business world. I will encourage life-long learning.

Why Business Education?
I believe that it is important to have a career where you can do what you love. For four years in high school, I worked as a receptionist and assistant in a real estate office. I enjoyed every minute that I spent in the office designing virtual tours of homes, organizing contracts and agreements, and assisting the brokers and agents. I loved the hours that I spent at my part time job in high school. It was that position that made me realize the importance of the business world to the average consumer. The lessons and experiences that I encountered in the real estate office as a young high school student fueled my interest to teach business education.
